President's Weekly Message

Welcome

This week we will play Cha, Cha, Cha. This is a postable score, everyone playing their own ball, but a team game. Sue will explain how the game is played. She will also cover the rules for water balls. Remember if you get a chip in or birdie you are responsible for noting that on the sheet on the back room bulletin board located in the Pro Shop..

Tee Time is 1 PM, please plan to be on the patio at 12:30 for league announcements, 50/50 ($2/3 tickets) and chip-in (25¢) sign up. Please join us for libations after golf. We will meet in the CW restaurant.

Reminder: The Fall Meeting/Luncheon is November 20th, 10:30 in the Saguaro Room. Look for the flyer posted in the ladies room in the Pro Shop as well as in the outside bulletin board. A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board, or you can register online at cottonwoodnine.azgolf.org. Cost is $15 for lunch. Members may choose to attend the meeting only BUT must register so we have enough seating. Registration and payment deadline is November 13 by noon. Checks should be placed in the luncheon folder on the bulletin board in the back room of the Pro Shop.

Remember Food Donations: We are collecting non-perishable food items throughout the month of November to donate to a local food charity. Please look for a donation basket/box in the back office near our bulletin board. Suggested items can be found on our website at cottonwoodnine.azgolf.org

Information about the Fall Meeting & Luncheon

We are collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food charity during this time when so many are experiencing food insecurity. Please look for a donation basket in the back office near our bulletin board. Suggested items are:

* Canned goods with pull tab tops

* Peanut Butter

* Canned tuna (pull tab top)

* Canned Chicken (pull tab top)

* Spaghetti Sauce/Noodles

* Diapers/Wipes

* Feminine hygiene products

* Toothpaste/Toothbrushes

* Canned fruit (pull tab tops)
