Announcing The 2026 Member/Guest Charity Event March 19th, 2026

Our annual Charity fundraiser is planned for March 19, 2026 at Cottonwood golf course. This year's chosen charity is a local one - Neighbors Who Care providing meal delivery service for our neighbors who don't have the funds to access this wonderful program. Through generous donations from area businesses and our members, and from the fun basket auction and live golf pro auction held during our day of golf and special activities, we've been able to donate meaningful funds to deserving local charities in past years. Thanks to all who make this a fun and impactful day!

Registration flyers are now available on the pro shop bulletin board, and here on our website. Niner’s have first dibs for registration. With 90 members we expect a full field (we can accommodate 144 players), so invite your guest and turn in your registration along with check early. Deposit the completed form and check in the envelope on the Niner's bulletin board located in the back office of the pro shop. Please note all checks are held until after the event. BASKET INFORMATION

Our fundraising activity includes Gift Baskets for Auction and/or raffle

What: For our basket raffle we ask our Niner members to assemble a large gift basket filled with items in a category of your choice – i.e. sports, activities, hobbies, food and drink, household items, etc. – named by you. It would be preferable if you have a large basket to hold the items. Baskets should be covered with clear film and tied with an attractive bow. If you need help with this, please contact Leah Skotnicki at (250) 320-2067 and arrange a time to drop off your items. She has additional supplies on hand to help make up your basket. If anyone has additional baskets to donate for our use (maybe you won one last year) please arrange to drop it off with Leah as soon as possible.
How: Decide on your own or with your partner what your theme is and fill your basket as you wish with items you would like to win or that you know others would like to win. If the basket contents total over $75, we may choose to put it on the silent auction table.
When: We will need your basket information by the 10th of March using the format below. Please get to Renee at a regular niner event or delivered to Leah at her convenience.

Lady Niners Member/Guest Tournament - Plan your day!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Wake up! Our day will start at 8:30 AM on the putting green next to the pro shop. Bring your putter and try to win great prizes!

Blind Putter – 1 wears a blindfold while their partner gives directions. If you make the putt, both team members get a prize.
Hit & Get It – Putting from a designated spot if you hit a prize you win it.

There will be a photo booth nearby so don your best DIVA attire and bring your partner to pose for fun memories of your day! Coffee and sweets will be served on the pro-shop patio.

Registration! We'll open up the San Tan Ballroom at 10 AM for team registrations and to purchase DIVA ENTITLEMENTS ($10 for 3) and basket raffle tickets to try to win the beautiful gift baskets donated by Niner members. ($20 for 25 tickets) We've also received golf packages from local golf courses to bid on in the silent auction. Bring your checkbook!

Buffet lunch starts at 11 along with a cash bar for pre-golf libations.

Scramble golf starts at 1 PM. Flag prizes on both front and back nines include: Closest to the pin, longest drive and longest putt. Each hole will be designated either member or guest, so everyone playing has a chance to win.

DIVA Entitlements – There will be 5 different DIVA Entitlements, from which your team can choose 3. DIVA Entitlements will be $10 per team. (tee the ball on any shot, let the pro hit the team drive, free drop from the sand, roll the dice to change your score, free drop from the water)

After golf we meet back in the ballroom to wrap up the afternoon, have dessert and award the game prizes. The highlight of the afternoon will be the Pro Auction featuring John, Travis, Jeron, Joey and Chris - get 3 friends together to bid on 1 pro (or more!), or get your husbands/significant others to band together to place a bid, too. (By the way if you win, you don’t need to pay greens fees, so bid HIGH!) Remember this is a Charity Event!

Please be prepared to bring cash or check for your winnings/purchases.
